What I appreciated most about the Pro-Care Spine Center is that I felt the office was in touch with me more than the other chiropractor I had been seeing for years. I also feel that I now have a better understanding of my body.

I was particularly pleased that I felt the doctor was really concerned and wanted to help. He always took the time to explain what was wrong with me and how he was going to help me and my overall body.

The doctor even came to my office to see me. Immediately, he noticed that my computer monitor was too low. Since I moved my monitor to a more appropriate height, I can work much more comfortably without having the pain in my neck I used to have. Another benefit is I have learned about my bone structure, muscles and nerves. Because of my knowledge, I can figure out where pain is coming from and which exercises or stretches I an do to start feeling better without medicine. For instance, I don’t have to drive in so much pain even when my sciatic nerve starts to bother me.

When I first came to the Pro-Care Spine Center, I had a separated L5, compacted vertebra in my neck and a bulging disc in the middle of my back. I had tried massage therapy and over the counter medications and ointments, but had little success treating my problem or my symptoms.

In 2002, I was in a serious automobile accident. At that time, I was more concerned with the “known” physical damage, not realizing the damage done to my neck. Several months later I began having problems turning my head. Left untreated the problem extended the full length of my spine and legs. Kneeling was a task. I found myself using more Tylenol type products. When I started having problems using my treadmill I decided it was time to get help. First I went to my own medical doctor who suggested I see a weight trainer. But through that experience I leaned that the problem was more than a problem with muscle strengthening.

A good friend recommended Dr. Boecking. Being the skeptic that I was, I reluctantly decided to pursue chiropractic care.

Dr. Neil started an aggressive approach to correcting the problems. His approach included a very thorough examination and regular visits for adjustments. He recommended that I prolong my exercise program until my problems had been addressed and corrected. Within two months I was able to start exercising again, this time without any discomfort or fear of doing something that would cause pain. He also recommended and guided me through exercises for strengthening my back plus a vitamin and mineral program. Wow! What a difference it has all made. I am feeling MUCH better! Now if I would use my posture pump as directed, I would be even better….that’s hard to imagine.

Only by accident or happenstance does one find such a chiropractor who towers leagues and levels beyond the masses. It was by this occasion that my family found such a chiropractor. We found a chiropractor who not only cares about our healing and health, but also cares about our welfare and happiness.

You must understand that I have been in Chiropractic College and chiropractic is a way of life for my family. We are believers in chiropractic healing and wellness. Before we go to the M.D. we see our chiropractor first. Nonetheless, from the entire process of x-rays, report of findings and consultations, I was amazed and thought to myself, “this is a chiropractor who is a rare find, he is the epitome of what the best schools produce.”

My son who is 22 months old was first adjusted and I knew he had the most thorough adjustment in his life. My son even got upset when his turn was over, he wanted more adjustments.

Next came my wife and I. We knew the same results would happen. Most chiropractors never adjust the T1 vertebrae or even worry about this area. You found the locked vertebrae and relieved the pressure. I knew this area was tough to adjust for any chiropractor. For at least a year, I suffered from this locked/sublaxed vertebrae. You said, “Ernest, your T1 is locked and I need to adjust it after a few attempts it finally released. I had to sit and catch my breath because I was overwhelmed from the release of pressure. As far as I can remember I don’t even suffer from headaches or lower back aches since this adjustment and my feet don’t hurt either.

As for my wife who has been to several chiropractors, she has this one thing to say, “Dr. Boecking is the best chiropractor we have ever seen. Not only is he an informative chiropractor, he is not a chiropractor who just adjusts you quickly to move on to the next patient.”

My overall summary of Dr. Neil Boecking is that he is the most complete, gentle and thorough chiropractor in the Central Texas area. This comes from a person who knows most-every chiropractor here in the hill country. He even helped us finance our treatments with such a complete choice of options to serve our needs.

Dr. Boecking is not only my friend, he is my family chiropractor whom we will entrust our health and wellness to. He is a chiropractor who has mastered the art of hands-on healing. He will adjust my next child immediately at birth, should we choose to have another.

I was having persistent middle and lower back pain with seemingly no relief in sight. Before coming to the Pro-Care Spine Center, I went to a physical therapist and was even prescribed a muscle relaxer by my primary physician. None of this seemed to help.

Fortunately, while playing basketball, Dr. Boecking’s brother, Brent, could tell I was in a great deal of pain. He recommended I try his chiropractic sibling for some treatment. I am so glad that he did because thus far, my mid back pain is a thing of the past. My lower back is being a little more stubborn but Dr. Boecking’s efforts have improved my mobility and reduced my discomfort tremendously.

When I first came to Dr. Boecking, I had developed scoliosis in my upper spine that was pinching the nerves to the muscles of my shoulders and upper back, causing them to remain in a permanently contracted position that was causing a tremendous amount of discomfort. This condition seemed to be the result of years of bass and guitar playing. It had gotten so bad that at 29 years of age, I had to have my girlfriend walk on my back every evening before bed to generate enough force to loosen the muscles so that I could get to sleep without tossing and turning all night.

I had been seeing another chiropractor for about 2 months; however, I was making no real progress as far as resolving the issue in a permanent capacity. Dr. Boecking used x-rays to immediately identify the issue and came up with a three month, intensive plan for correcting the problem that involved adjustments, massage and therapeutic aides as well as physical therapy-style exercise.

After the very first adjustment, I could feel the cool waves of circulation and relaxation returning to the areas of my back that had been tense for almost a year! After 2 weeks, my spine was almost completely and consistently straight between visits. Now, at the end of the 3 month period, my back and neck have returned to their natural positions and the musculature of my back is almost completely even again!

There are no words to express the difference in the quality of life that I feel as a result of Dr. Boecking’s chiropractic care. He literally saved my life. I can now play bass for hours virtually no discomfort or tightening of the muscles. I sleep comfortably and soundly all night long, and I have even stopped snoring much to the delight of my girlfriend. What was truly surprising is just how AFFORDABLE treatment and maintenance is. I originally started seeing Dr. Neil Boecking for treatment of a chronic low back problem that can cause a lot of pain and limit my mobility. However, with regular routine chiropractic care at the Pro-Care Spine Center, Dr. Boecking has helped make a chronic problem manageable.

Recently, I hyper-extended my leg just behind the knee and as time passed the pain became so severe that it was difficult to walk without a walking cane. My medical doctor ruled out any serious problems and suggested that I see a physical therapist. I decided to discuss my medical doctor’s report with Dr. Boecking. He knew immediately what needed to be done and he outlined a three week treatment plan to correct the problem.

The results during the first week of treatment were amazing! I was able to walk without the walking cane and the pain in the back of the leg was drastically reduced. Following each treatment session, Dr. Boecking listened to my input and adjusted the treatments accordingly. I could tell immediately after each session that Dr. Boecking’s treatment plan was working. After the third week of therapy, the pain was gone and I am currently working on exercises to strengthen the knee area.
