Dr. Richard Miller DC

Dr. Richard Miller

Dr. Richard Miller is originally from New Jersey and moved to Texas to attend Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas.  He is a board certified Chiropractor and has a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness.  Dr. Miller is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART©) for spine, upper and lower extremities, the gold standard for treating soft tissue injuries. He is an active member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Miller first became interested in chiropractic in 2000 while pursuing his undergraduate degree and while working in a chiropractic and sports clinic. There he became acquainted with the patients and experienced first hand how the doctor’s protocol could not only heal a person, but also greatly improved their overall lifestyle. He enjoyed hearing the patients’ stories and seeing how much they were progressing with each return visit. While still in school at Parker Chiropractic College, Dr. Miller did his internship at a chiropractic and sports clinic in Keller, TX. The doctor in the Keller clinic specialized in sports injuries and was an instructor of Active Release Techniques. It was there he learned the importance of also treating the muscles in the musculoskeletal system and not just the spine.

In his personal life, Dr. Miller likes to stay very active. Throughout high school and college he played baseball and basketball. He does Crossfit© and also trains for triathlons. Dr. Miller has completed numerous triathlons ranging from sprint to half-ironman distance.

In addition, Dr. Miller will be part of the inaugural staff at our first office in San Antonio, opening in late 2008.
